Robert Allen McDonald, 68, husband of Rosie Mae Burden McDonald, passed away Friday, October 9, 2026 at his home in Nicholas County.
Born June 14, 1958 in Nicholas County to the late John Wayne & Marilyn Letcher McDonald, he was a longtime truck driver for Lexington Food Service and a devoted family man.
Additional survivors include 2 sons, Keith (Jennifer) McDonald of Nicholas County and Tony McDonald of Ohio; a brother, John McDonald of Lexington; a sister, Michelle (Bud) Johnson of Nicholas County; and 4 grandchildren: Jacob & Daniel McDonald, Bryson Bailey and Autumn Webb.
In accordance with this wishes, Robert will be cremated with no formal services.
