Rosa Lee Mays Corder, 67, wife of Lester Corder, passed away Thursday, April 12, 2012 at Bourbon Community Hospital in Paris.

She was born in Lee County on April 7, 1945, was a devoted homemaker, member of the Fabulous Fourth Committee for 10 years and member of the Grace Christian Church.

She is also survived by four children: James Paul Jewell, of Sadieville, Donnie Jewell, of Carlisle, Viola Ritchie, of Cynthiana, & Anna Campbell, of Georgetown; four stepchildren: Wesley Corder, of Carlisle, Dale Shannon Corder, Amanda (Paul) Wright & Lynetta Wright, all of Parkersburg, West Virginia; two sisters: Kathy (Bobby) Allen & Beverly "Becky" (Ed) Holiday, both of Beattyville; seven grandchildren: Michael, Nicholas, Matthew, Sebastian, William, Alexis & Savannah: her mother-in-law, Lorena Crawford; several nieces and nephews, and a special friend, Roy Carpenter.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Mavis Mays Duncil, and her brother, Dale Duncil.

Services will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday, April 19, 2012 at Mathers-Gaunce Funeral Home. A committal service will be held at 4:00 P.M. Thursday at Pythian Grove Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 12:00 Noon until the time of service on Thursday.
