Rosa Jewell Myers, 76, widow of Walter Elmo Myers died Monday, December 8, 2008 at her home.

She was born July 27, 1932 in Nicholas Co. to the late Leonard & Inez Jolly Watkins, was a former employee of Jockey International and a member of Cassidy United Methodist Church

Other survivors include 3 sons, Darrell (Kathy), Mike, & Luke (Becky) Myers, 3 daughters, Judy (Eugene) Hall, Sandy (Charles) Ishmael & Missy (Timmy) Fryman, all of Carlisle, a daughter-in-law, Susie Myers, Carlisle, 3 brothers, Sanford (Maxine) Melvin & Foster Watkins, 2 sister, Billie (Ernest) Gray & Patty (Ed) Jefferson, all of Carlisle, 14 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by a son Stevie Myers, 2 brothers, 2 sisters, 1 granddaughter and 1 great-granddaughter.

Services will be 1:00 P.M. Thursday at Mathers-Gaunce F.H. by Rev. James Gaunce. Burial will follow in Carlisle Cemetery.

Visitation will be after 5:00 P.M. Wednesday.
