Ruby Bartlett Lukins, 72, widow of James Lee Lukins, passed away Wednesday, March 17, 2010 at Johnson-Mathers Nursing Home.

She was born July 29, 1937 in Nicholas County to the late Robert & Thelma Maude Snapp Bartlett. She was a former employee of Bourbon Community Hospital, member of the American Legion Post 257 Ladies Auxiliary and member of the Carlisle Assembly of God Church.

Survivors include 3 sons, James (Diana) Lukins, Cynthiana, Charles (Terry) Lukins, Millersburg, Donald (Vickie) Lukins, Carlisle, a brother, James "Doug" (Elizabeth) Bartlett, Paris, 5 grandchildren, Amber, Elizabeth, Jamie, Zach & Aaron Lukins, and 1 great-grandchild.

She was also preceded in death by 2 sisters, Eva Massey Malone and Nancye Wheeler.

Services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, March 20, 2010 at Mathers-Gaunce Funeral Home by the Rev. Darrell Sexton with burial to follow in the Millersburg Cemetery.

Visitation will be after 6:00 PM Friday at the funeral home with a Ladies Auxiliary service at 7:00 PM.
