Ruby Jackson McKee, 88, passed away on Friday, July 10, 2015 at Johnson-Mathers Nursing Home.

Born June 6, 1927 in Fleming Co. to the late Clarence & Mamie Hatfield Jackson, she was a nurses aide at Nicholas County Hospital for 30 years and later worked as a personal sitter and was also a member of the VFW #8666 Lloyd George Post Ladies Auxiliary. Ruby took great pleasure in spending time with her family.

Survivors include her 3 children: twins, Phillip McKee of Lexington & Phyllis (Larry) Mitchell of Carlisle, and daughter Sharon (Randy) Hedges of Carlisle; a daughter-in-law, Karen McKee; her 6 grandchildren: Melissa (Eddie) Hill, Todd (Becky) Hedges, Chad (Anna) Mitchell, Rodney (Shannon) Hedges, Gretchen Ball & Adam McKee, and her 8 great-grandchildren: Chris Jefferson, Andy Hedges, Hunter & Tyler Mitchell, Austin & Amberlee Hedges, Alexandra Berry and Quentin McKee.

Services will be 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at Mathers-Gaunce Funeral Home by Rev. Steve Smith. Burial will follow in Carlisle Cemetery.

Visitation will be after 5:00 P.M. Monday.
