Russell Barbee "Rusty" Dixon, 69, widower of Dottie Bretz Dixon died Wednesday, November 22, 2006 at Nicholas Co. Hospital.

He was born February 13, 1937 in Nicholas Co. to the late Jim Will & Hattie Ruth Barbee Dixon, was a retired employee of Jockey International, a retired mechanic and a member of Oakland Mills Methodist Church.

Survivors include a son, Danny Ray Dixon, Carlisle, a daughter Cynthia Lou Dixon, Owingsville, a brother Ray Eugene (Sara) Dixon, Texas, a sister, Ruth (George) Willoughby, Carlisle and 4 grandchildren, Danny Ray Dixon, Jr., William Dixon, and Harley & Hope Richardson.

Services will be 11:00 A.M. Monday at Mathers-Gaunce F.H. by Rev. James Gaunce. Burial will follow in Carlisle Cemetery.

Visitation will be 4:00-8:00 P.M. Sunday.
