Ruth M. Ross, 92, widow of William F. Ross, passed away on Thursday, October 3, 2013 at Johnson-Mathers Nursing Home.

She was born April 23, 1921 in Durango, Colorado to the late Lisle & Helen Colvert Meadows, was baptized in the Methodist faith, was a devoted homemaker, mother and grandmother.

Survivors include a daughter– Betty (Luther Tincher) Henderson, Carlisle; a son– Bill (Debbie) Mohney, Los Lunas, NM; a brother– Lisle Meadows, Montrose, CO; a half-brother– Curtis Hutchins, Aztec, NM; 3 grandchildren– Becky (Keith Booth) Henderson, Jeremy "Buck" (Mandy) Henderson & Sheila Mohney; 2 step-grandchildren– Audrey & Renee; a great-granddaughter– Cathy Bloomfield; and 2 step-great grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by a daughter Barbara Ann Ross and 2 sisters, Dora & Vera.

Services will be 4:00 P.M. Sunday at Mathers-Gaunce Funeral Home with visitation from 2:00 P.M. until the time of service.

Inurnment will be at the Bayfield Cemetery in Bayfield, Colorado.
