Sandra Clark Nichols Howard,58, wife of James H. Howard, Aurora, Illinois died Monday, October 15, 2007 at Rush-Copley Medical Center.

She was born in Harrison County to the late Oscar and Wilsolina Ramey Nichols and was a homemaker and a member of the Carlisle First Baptist Church.

Other survivors are a son and daughter-in-law Randell Howard and Marcella Greene,Carlisle, a brother, Joe Wayne Nichols, Lexington, 2 sisters, Dottie Nichols, Berry and Teressa Nichols.

She was preceded in death by a son, Jamie Clark Howard and a sister, Julie Mae Hale.

Services will be 2:00 PM Friday at Mathers-Gaunce Funeral Home by Rev. Gaylord Gillespie and Rev. James Gaunce. Burial will follow in the Carlisle Cemetery.

Visitation will be after 6:00 PM Thursday.

Casketbearers will be Mark Hughes, David Smith, Jr. Nichols, Johnny Gillispie, Kevin Green and Jeremy Hughes.
