Sarah Catherine Curry, 79, widow of Thomas Curry passed away Saturday, April 3, 2010 at Johnson-Mathers Nursing Home.

She was born September 4, 1930 in Woodford Co. to the late Morris Owens Eaves & Verna Payne Rogers Eaves, was a retired employee of National Linen Service and attended the Carlisle Christian Church.

Survivors include 3 daughters, Margie (Roger) Willoughby, Carlisle, Carolyn Ziegler, Winchester & Anna Mae (John L.) Shackleford, Harlan, a step-son Danny Curry and a step-daughter, Kathy Mazy, 2 sisters, Laura May Jennings & Mauricelene Creech, Versailles, 9 grandchildren, Tracy (Steve) Willoughby, Tommy (Lisa Varner) Willoughby, James Snelling, Tony (Peggy) Willoughby, Joey (Paige Christopher) Willoughby, John Thomas Shackleford, Rodney (Kristy) Willoughby, D.J. Ziegler and Sheila Willoughby and 13 great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by 2 sisters, Patty Goins & Marjorie Eaves.

Services will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday April 6 at Mathers-Gaunce F.H. by Rev. Rocky Wallace. Burial will follow in Carlisle Cemetery.

Memorial contributions are suggested to Johnson-Mathers Nursing Home Activities Fund.

Visitation will be after 4:00 P.M. Monday.
