Matthew Sean Ellington, 50, of Kokomo, Indiana, passed away Tuesday, September 27, 2022 at his home.

Born June 17, 1972 in Nicholas County, Kentucky, Sean was a talented auto mechanic who specialized in car restoration and was a member of the Community Fellowship Church.  He liked fishing and loved anything to do with cars, from car shows to drag racing. His greatest joy came from spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Surviving are his mother, Cathy Fisher Foote, of Carlisle; his father, Scotty Paul (Rita) Ellington, of Kokomo, Indiana; a brother, Christopher Shannon Ellington, of Tuscon, Arizona; a sister, Amber Dawn Ellington, of Ormond Beach, Florida; 3 children: William Dallas Stufflebean, of Kansas City, Missouri, Noelle (Dwayne) Johnson, of Iowa, and Natalie Erve, of Moberly, Missouri; 4 nieces & nephews: Lauren, Michael, Hunter & Kaylee Ellington; his aunt, Georgia Livingood, of Carlisle; a dear friend, Gary Foote, of Kansas; 2 special ladies, Stephanie Knickrehm & Brandi Legg, of Kokomo; and 5 grandchildren, as well as a host of cousins, great-nieces & nephews.

Preceding him in death were his grandparents, George & Helen Fisher and Paul & Mavis Ellington, along with a great-nephew, Jayden Michael Scott Wilham.

Service will be 1:00 P.M. Monday, October 3 at Mathers-Gaunce F.H. Burial will follow in Carlisle Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. Monday until the time of services.
