Tamela Sue "Tammy" Hawkins, 52, of Barterville, wife of Mike Hawkins, passed away Sunday, June 5, 2011 at her home.

She was born March 24, 1959 in Nicholas Co. to the late Burton Donson & Patsy Curtis Ritchie, was a former employee of Kentucky Textiles and Toyo Seat and a member of the Ramey's Chapel United Methodist Church.

She is also survived by 3 daughters- Misty Ritchie (Justin Brown, Sr.) & Melony (Chris) Davis, both of Paris, and Lyric Hawkins, of Louisville, 2 brothers- Tommy (Jo) Ritchie and James (Tracy) Ritchie, 2 sisters- Donna Adams and Gay (David) Hunt, 2 special aunts, Dorothy Ritchie and Linda B. George, all of Carlisle, and 7 grandchildren- Trenton Clark, Amontae Brown, Xavier Brown, Justin Brown, Jr., Alyssa Brown, Brooklyn Davis & Carma Wickliffe.

Services will be 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, June 8, 2011 atthe Mathers-Gaunce Funeral Home by Bro. Jesse Hickerson with burial following in the Barterville Cemetery.

Visitation will be after 6:00 P.M. Tuesday.
