Wanda "C" Jefferson, 69, of Sadieville, wife of Gerald Richard Jefferson, died Thursday, September 11, 2008 at her home.

She was born September 6, 1939 in Nicholas Co. to the late Claude & Audrey Mitchell Abnee.

Other survivors include 6 sons, Terry Wayne Jefferson, Tyrone Jefferson & Jerone Jefferson, Sadieville, Michael Todd Jefferson, Lexington, Travis Michael Jefferson, Sadieville & Derek Wade Jefferson, Ft. Lewis, Washington, 3 daughters, Kimberly Gail Simpson, Danville, Shandi Nicole Jefferson, Lexington & Laura Earlywine, Paris, a brother, Jerry Wayne Abnee, Lexington, a sister, Dorothy Earlywine, Paris, a half-brother, Thomas Williams, Louisville, a half-sister, Catherine Sloan, Peru, Indiana, 18 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by a sister Mary Bush, a half-brother Charles Williams and a grandson, Jerone Jefferson, Jr.

Services will be 11:00 A.M. Tuesday at Mathers-Gaunce F.H. by Rev. William Singleton.

Visitation will be after 5:00 P.M. Monday.
