Wanda Kay Martin, 71, widow of Charlie "Mouse" Martin, died Friday, Sept. 11, 2009 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center.

She was born June 10, 1938 in Montgomery Co. to the late Sherman & Ethel Sorrell McCarty and was member of the Grace Gospel Church of Sharpsburg.

She is survived by 2 sons, Gregory Martin (Paul Wilson), Miami, FL, and Jeffrey (Christy) Martin, Carlisle, 3 sisters, Opal Kelley, Carlisle, her twin, Wilma Donovan, Paris, and Sophie Miller, Anderson, IN, 3 grandchildren, Jamie Martin, Chelsey Tolson and Brittany Tolson, and a very special friend, Colleen Blincoe.

She was also preceded in death by 3 brothers, Charles, Marvin and Ray McCarty, and 2 sisters, Josephine Westfall and Maxine Smoot.

Services will be 11:00 A.M. Monday at Mathers-Gaunce Funeral Home by Rev. Steve Smith with burial to follow in the Crown Hill Cemetery, Sharpsburg.

Visitation will be after 4:00 P.M. Sunday.
