William C. "Bill" Linville, 73, of Henderson, Tennessee, formerly of Carlisle passed away Saturday, July 19, 2014 at the Jackson Madison County General Hospital.

He was born August 17, 1940 in Nicholas Co. a son of the late Ernest C. and Nancy Price Linville, attended school in Nicholas County, worked for Johnson Controls in Georgetown and also farmed and was a member of Stoney Creek Christian Church.  Bill married Shirley Johnson Hopper in 1995, she preceded him in death in 2009.  .

Survivors include two daughters: Janet Allison of Carlisle and Kristin Porter of Flemingsburg; three sons: Steve Linville of Carlisle, Aaron Linville of Orlando, Florida, and Jason Linville of Henderson, Tennessee; a brother Jerry Linville of Carlisle; nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

A Graveside Service will be held 1 PM Tuesday, July 22, 2014 at the Carlisle Cemetery in Carlisle, Kentucky with Rev. Donald Jones officiating.
