Anita Ring Clark, 79, passed away Sunday, April 17, 2016 at her home.
Born January 14, 1937 in Nicholas County to the late Taylor & Della Mae Florence Ring, she was the former owner of Clark’s Tasty-Freeze, an avid bridge player, member of the Nicholas County Homemakers, the Garden Club & the Red Hatters and a volunteer at the Neal Welcome Center. Anita was also a devoted member of the Carlisle Presbyterian Church.
Left to cherish her memory are a son: Bill (Cathy) Clark; 2 daughters: Cindy Clark (Stuart) Beheler & Cami Clark Ash; a sister, Callie Alexander; a sister-in-law, Margaret Ring; 7 grandchildren: Brian Clark, Andy Clark, Nathan Beheler, Trae Clark, Scott Clark, Elizabeth Beheler and Brandyn Ash; and 3 great-grandchildren: Cameron & Collier Clark and Aiden Smith.
Also preceding her in death were 3 brothers, Clark, John & Woody Ring, 3 sisters, Sophia Mynear, Elizabeth Snapp & Adeline Wilson and 2 grandsons, Christopher & Dustin Clark.
A Memorial Service will be held at 6:00 P.M. Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at the Carlisle Presbyterian Church by Rev. Schuyler Olt.
Inurnment will take place in the Carlisle Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. Wednesday at the church until the time of service.
