Annabelle Pollard Morris, 88, passed away Thursday, August 15, 2024 at her home in Mt. Sterling.
Born December 28, 1935 in Frankfort to the late Charlie & Alice Murrell Pollard, she was a former employee of the Christmas Tree Factory in Lexington and attended the Assembly of God Church. Annabelle loved playing Bingo, working crossword puzzles, sitting outside and watching UK Basketball.
Surviving are 4 children: Nancy Lyons of Mt. Sterling, Shirley (Larry) Bowles of Carlisle, Paula Morris of Mt. Sterling, and Calvin (Kelly) Morris, Jr. of Powell County; a sister, Sarah Pollard of Carlisle; a special niece, Rose Pollard Carter of Cynthiana; 11 grandchildren: Dalton Lyons (Corey Branham), Brandon Lyons, Nicholas (Tiffany) Lyons, Matthew Lyons, Larry Bowles Jr., Crystal Campos, Danielle Lindon (David Jolly), Kaleb Morris, Caden Morris, Kyle Morris & Claire Morris; 16 great-grandchildren: Owen, Finley, Damien, Emma, Haven, Audrey, Katelyn, Saundra, Alexia, Gabrielle, Hunter, David Lee, Theodore, Peyton, Shawn & Gracie; a great-great grandson, Jaiden, and a large extended family.
Also preceding her in death were 4 brothers: Ira, Larry, Jackie & Henry Pollard, and a sister, Janie Wasson.
Services will be 4:00 P.M. Tuesday, August 20th at Mathers-Gaunce Funeral Home by Bro. Tim Conkright. Burial will follow in Millersburg Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2:00 P.M. Tuesday until the time of service.
