B.J. Denton

William DeWayne “B.J.” Denton, II, age 33, died December 28, 2022 at Advent Health Hospital in Ocala, Florida following a brief illness. 

He was born March 20, 1989 in Lexington, Kentucky. He leaves behind his parents, Bill & Amanda Denton, of Cynthiana, and Tricia & Doug Jones, of Ocala. 

B.J. is also survived by his daughters, Lilly & Addie; 3 brothers: Jacob (Caitlyn) Denton, of Cynthiana, and Zach & Avery Jones, of Ocala; 2 sisters, Summer Peel and Malin Denton, of Cynthiana; his grandparents, Calvin and Melanie Denton, of Carlisle, and Don & Linda Ringer, of Ocala.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Gloria Commodore, of  Germantown, Liza Fuller, of Carlisle, and Harold & Martha Jones, of Millersburg.

B.J. was a 2007 graduate of Nicholas County High School and was a certified welder. 

A memorial service for family & friends will be held on Saturday, February 11th at the Carlisle Christian Church Family Life Center at 11:00 A.M.
