Barbara (Duncan) Fryman Obituary

Barbara Ann Duncan Fryman, 79, wife of the late Wavel Clay Fryman, passed away Tuesday, June 16, 2020 at Johnson-Mathers Nursing Home.


Born March 13, 1941 in Maysville, Kentucky to the late Arthur & Jane Clark Duncan, she worked for 32 years at Jockey International and loved being at home.


Surviving are 4 children: Larry (Sheila) Fryman, Phillip Fryman, Nancy (Ken) Baker and Leslie (Ben) Tyree; 2 sisters: Bess (Ronnie) Stewart and Shelby Adamson; a brother, John Duncan; 12 grandchildren: Andrew (Traci) Fryman, Laura (Brad) Galbraith, Cianna Fryman, Katie, Shelby & Jordan Brooke Tyree, Sara (Les) Perraut, Taylor (Emily) Fryman, Devyn & Dawson Fryman, and Thomas & Christina Baker; and 4 great-grandchildren: Waysen & Haisley Fryman and Eli & Maddie Perraut.


Also preceding her in death were 3 brothers: Arthur "Bob", Eugene & Kenneth Duncan, and 3 sisters: Juanita Fryman, Audrey Tupts & Helen Shannon.


Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, June 19, 2020 in the Carlisle Cemetery Chapel with burial to follow.
