Betty Jean Huddleson Barton, 90, wife of the late Oliver Kash Barton, died peacefully at home on Tuesday, July 25, 2017.
Born May 15, 1927 in Carlisle, Kentucky to the late Frank & Carlie Lawrence Huddleson, she was a retired employee of the South Central Bell Telephone Company and member of the Carlisle Christian Church.
Survivors include a son, Billy (Gail) Barton; a daughter, Lois Terrell, both of Carlisle; a grandson, Rodney (Serena) Brierly; a granddaughter, Kristi (Kevin) Morris; 4 great-grandchildren: Joshua (Katie) Brierly, Spencer Morris, Lincoln Morris and Mandy (Ricky) Cline; 4 great-great grandchildren: Landon & Hagen Brierly and Bailey & Briley Cline; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces & great-nephews.
Also preceding her in death were 3 sisters, Margaret Wade, Dorothy Eads and Madeline Hunt, and a grandson, Troy Barton.
A private family burial will be conducted in the Carlisle Cemetery. There will be no visitation.
