Betty Lou (Howard) Gillispie

Betty Lou Howard Gillispie, 78, wife of the late Donald Clark Gillispie, passed away Thursday, September 16, 2021 at her home. 

Born January 7, 1943 in Nicholas County to the late Cecil & Myrtle D. Livingood Howard, she was the owner and operator of Hi-Acres Family Styling Salon in Lexington for many years. Betty was devoted to her family and loved taking care of her home. 

Surviving are 3 brothers: Cecil F. (Peggy) Howard, Ronald C. Howard & James H. Howard and several nieces & nephews. 

She was also preceded in death by her son, Jonathan Clark Gillispie.

A Gathering of Family & Friends will be after 6:00 P.M. Monday, September 20th at Mathers-Gaunce Funeral Home for Betty and her son, Jonathan, who passed away September 12th. There will be no funeral services. Private burial will be in Millersburg Cemetery.
