Bettye Jean (Feeback) Ritchie

Bettye Jean Feeback Ritchie, 82, wife of the late Sam Ritchie, Jr., passed away Sunday, December 6, 2020 at her son’s home. 

Born February 24, 1938 in Nicholas County to the late Millard “Frack” & Elizabeth Jolly Feeback, she was a longtime nurse’s aide & care-giver at the Nicholas County Hospital and Johnson-Mathers Nursing Home and a dedicated member of the East Union Christian Church. Bettye dearly loved raising her family and caring for others. 

Surviving are 3 children: Debbie Edmond, of Fleming County, Barry (Vickie) Ritchie, of Harrison County, and Patrick Ritchie, of Nicholas County; 7 grandchildren: Bradley Terrell, Jeremy Terrell, Scott Terrell, Radonna Sosbe, Elizabeth Ann Edmond, James Edmond, Chelsey Bradford, Camryn Ritchie & Laura Ritchie; and 10 great-grandchildren.

A private service by Bro. John Herndon will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, December 9, 2020 in the Carlisle Cemetery Chapel with burial to follow.
