Beverly Sue (Jolly) Montgomery

Beverly Sue Jolly Montgomery, 67, of Paris, wife of Rod C. Montgomery, passed away Monday, March 1, 2021 at Bourbon Community Hospital. 

Born January 7, 1954 in Nicholas County to the late Edward Lee & Margaret Marie Colemire Jolly, she was a devoted homemaker and a babysitter for many years, and attended Silas Baptist Church. Beverly loved reading, collecting candles and going to yard sales. 

Additional survivors include 2 daughters, Tina (Stephen) Royse and Tracy Cooper; 2 step-daughters: Robin Shofner and Renee Gress; 5 sisters: Sylvia (Jay) Mitchell, Wanda Thornsburg, Imogene Baber, Irene Mitchell and Pam (Joe) Shepherd; 6 grandchildren: Wesley Royse (Jo Culbertson), Matthew (Brittanie) Royse, Mason Cooper (Katie Nelson), Clayton (Courtney) Cooper, Cory Cordray and Ethan Cordray; and 7 great-grandchildren: Tyler & Boone Royse, Lyndsie Barker, Alexia, Kinsley & Kennedy Cooper and Braylyn Cordray. 

Also preceding her in death were a son, Jamie Cooper, 2 brothers, Thomas Lee & Larry Jolly, and 2 sisters, Mildred Jolly & Linda Walters. 

Services will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday, March 4th at Mathers-Gaunce Funeral Home by Bro. Curtis Coots with burial to follow in Carlisle Cemetery. 

Visitation will be after 5:00 P.M. Wednesday.
