Beverly Mann Sansom passed from this world on April 20, 2024 in Brandon, Florida with her family by her side, having left this world a better place because she had been here. She was born September 29, 1944 in Carlisle, KY and spent her childhood and formative years in the comfort of this strong, close-knit community. She was crowned the 1961 Nicholas County Blackberry Festival queen while a junior in high school. She also played the clarinet, was a drum majorette in the marching band and had many friends. She went on to have a family and a career spanning decades that was always centered around helping others – especially in the legal and social services fields. Her legacy will always remain her steadfast love and support which knew no limits and was given freely and without question to her family and loved ones. She believed the best in everyone and never spoke an unkind word about anyone. And how lucky you were if she spoiled you with her home cooking.
She will forever be loved and missed by her survivors, daughters, Alisa (Joel) Anderson Rabon, Stephanie (Richie) Sansom Karr, son, Philip Sansom, grandsons, Jordan and Jacob Smith, granddaughters, Emily and Megan Sansom. She was also equally loved and cherished by those who predeceased her, her husband of 42 years, Philip C. Sansom and parents, James and Imogene Mann, son-in-law, Charles French, daughter-in-law, Karen Sansom and beloved pets, especially Zach, Hank and Miss Lucy.
