Billy Cameron

William Len “Billy” Cameron, 73, husband of 35 years to Rebecca Claunch Cameron, passed away Sunday, June 5, 2022 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center. 

Born July 8, 1948 in Bourbon County to the late Robert A. & Eloise Fuller Cameron, he worked for many years in construction, enjoyed fixing lawnmowers and loved fishing & taking rides in the country. 

Additional survivors include 2 children, Charlotte Cameron (Robbie) Jones & Bill (Lisa) Cameron, both of Paris; a stepson, Tommy Gene Devine, of Lexington; 5 siblings: Gary (late-Lorraine) Cameron, of Lancaster, Wayne (late-Linda) Cameron, of Paris, Ronnie (Trudy) Cameron, of Paris, Janice (Carl) Hafley, of Millersburg, and Sharon (Danny) Purvis, of Carlisle; a brother-in-law, Jackie Wayne (Charlene) Claunch, of Harrodsburg; 5 grandchildren: Steven (LeeAnn) Abner, Justin (Fallon) Jones, Emily Faye Cameron, Heather Marie Cameron and Owen Wayne Devine; 6 great-grandchildren; 2 dear friends, Willie Little, of Paris, and Jeff Mattox, of Carlisle; and several nieces, nephews & cousins.

Also preceding him in death were a brother, Jimmy (Evelyn) Cameron, a sister, Mary Linda (Harrison) Caudill, and a stepson, Vernon Wayne Devine. 

Following cremation, a private family inurnment will be held in Millersburg Cemetery.
