Billy Allen Tincher, 82, of Paris, husband of 50 years to Wanda Hawkins Ritchie Tincher, passed away Friday, November 2, 2018 at his home.
Born February 19, 1936 in Nicholas County to the late Willie "Bill" & Alma Tapp Tincher, he was a U.S. Army veteran. Billy spent 49 years hauling milk for local dairies and was a member of the Ruddles Mills Christian Church. In his retirement, he loved remodeling houses, caring for his horses and tending to his yard.
Additional survivors include 7 children: Lisa (Ron) McClain, of Mt. Sterling, Linda (Tony) Fryman, James C. Tincher, Debbie Ritchie and John Paul (Dianna) Ritchie, all of Carlisle, Beverly Waters and Teresa (Kelly) Beach, both of Paris; 7 brothers: Paul, Luther, Jim, Gayle & Danny Tincher and Frankie & Jerry Hilander; 2 sisters: Mary Evans & Dorothy Flora; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Also preceding him in death were a son, Jeffery Tincher, a grandson, Scotty Fugate, 2 great-grandsons, Austin & Joseph Tincher, a great-great grandson, Caleb C. Mitchell, and a special friend, J.J., his dog.
Services will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, November 6, 2018 at Mathers-Gaunce Funeral Home by Rev. John McGuire with burial to follow in the Carlisle Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 12:00 Noon Tuesday until the service.
