Bonnie Sue Burke

Bonnie Sue Burke, 71, daughter of the late Raymond & Imogene Smoot Burke, passed away at her home on Thursday, August 17, 2023.

Born February 5, 1952 in Nicholas County, she liked watching westerns and working jigsaw & crossword puzzles.

Surviving are a brother, Allen (Bonnie) Burke of Carlisle; 5 sisters: Wanda (Jim) Eades of Lexington, Elizabeth (Raymond) Willoughby, Judy Burke, Becky (Mack) Evans & Gail (Timmy) Jefferson, all of Carlisle; 4 nephews: Nathan Eades, Jimmy (Mindy) Eades, Josh (Shyanna) Evans & Shawn (Destiny) Evans; 2 nieces, Kayla Jefferson & Morgan (Trae) Clark; 5 great-nephews: Brayden & Walker Evans, Asher Garren, Liam Clark & Gibson Eades; and 2 great-nieces, Emily & Bayleigh Evans.

Services will be 11:00 A.M. Monday, August 21st at Mathers-Gaunce Funeral Home by Bro. Troy Miller with burial to follow in Carlisle Cemetery. 

Visitation will be after 5:00 P.M. Sunday.
