Bruce Wayne Ring, Sr.

Bruce Wayne Ring, Sr., 83, husband of the late Alma Jean Green Ring, passed away on Sunday, September 29, 2019 at his home.

Born April 9, 1936 in Nicholas Co. to the late Bruce J. & Lurlene Burke Ring, he was a longtime carpenter, a retired employee of Ladish in Cynthiana, a U.S. Air Force Veteran and a member of American Legion Post #257 in Millersburg. Survivors include 3 children: Ricky (Becky) Ring, Bruce Wayne, Jr. (Albina) Ring and Vicki (Gene) Gerken, all of Alaska; a step-son, Floyd "Buddy" (Bonnie) Mynear, of Millersburg; three step-daughters: Janet (Wayne) Alexander, of Paris, Kay (Connie Ray) Robinson, of Willisburg, and Joan (Jack) Crump, of Millersburg; a sister, Mabel Sexton, of Carlisle; a brother, Jim (Mary) Ring, of Mt. Sterling, 15 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.

Also preceding him in death was a brother, Charles Ring.

Services will be at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, October 2, 2019 at Mathers-Gaunce Funeral Home. Burial with military honors will follow in Millersburg Cemetery.

Visitation will be after 5:00 P.M. Tuesday.
