Charles William “Chuckie” Bussell, 59, passed away Sunday, October 22, 2023.

Born February 14, 1964 in Nicholas County to the late Gano Terrell “Buck” & Virginia Bretz Bussell, he worked for many years as a horse handler on several area horse farms.

Surviving are a daughter, Tabbitha Bussell of Carlisle; 2 brothers, Gary (Marsha) Vance of Paris & Gano Reynolds (Angela) Bussell of Cynthiana; 3 sisters: Kat (John) Walker of Berry, Sue Bussell of Carlisle & Edna Morris of Cynthiana; 4 grandchildren: Caylee Lewis, Makenna Bussell, Abram Cornett & Avery Spencer; and his special dog, Chuckie.

Also preceding him in death were a brother, Steven A. Vance, and a sister, Clarine Annette “Netty” Bussell.

In accordance with his wishes, Chuckie will be cremated with no public services.
