Obituary

Clara Earlywine Sapp, 94, wife of the late Clay Letton Sapp, passed away Sunday, May 1, 2022 at Fountain Circle Care & Rehab in Winchester.

Born March 8, 1928 in Nicholas County to the late Roy D. & Zettie Mynear Earlywine, she was a devoted homemaker who loved cooking, working on the farm and crocheting. 

Surviving are a brother, Chester Earlywine, of Robertson County; 2 sisters, Linda Morris & Elloree Ritchie, of Nicholas County; and several nieces & nephews.

Also preceding her in death were 3 brothers, Calvin “Jack”, Clyde & Shirley Earlywine, and 3 sisters, Juanita Earlywine, Gertrude Hollar & Addie Jackson.

Services will be 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, May 4th at Mathers-Gaunce Funeral Home by Bro. Jerry Eubanks with burial to follow in Carlisle Cemetery. 

Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. Wednesday until the time of service.
