Clyde Reynolds Miller, 92, of Cynthiana, formerly of Carlisle, husband of the late Relma Snapp Miller, passed away Friday, August 10, 2018 at his home.
Born September 28, 1925 in Nicholas County, Kentucky to the late John Thomas & Pearl Snapp Miller, he was a lifelong farmer, a former Nicholas County Deputy Sheriff and attended Elmarch United Methodist Church. He greatly enjoyed fishing and playing cards. A true character who loved to pick on everybody, you knew you were Clyde’s friend if he was giving you a hard time.
Surviving are a daughter, Rita Miller; 3 sons: Rudy (Donna) Miller, Troy Miller and Ronald Miller, all of Cynthiana; 4 grandchildren: Kevin Miller, Jason (Monica) Miller, Justen Miller and Mindy (Steven) Justice; 4 great-grandchildren: Jami & Jaden Miller and Cooper & Paxton Justice.
Also preceding him in death were a brother, Albert Thomas Miller, a sister and brother-in-law, Cleoda & Lester Snapp, and 3 brothers-in-law: Ernest, Raymond C. & Robert Spencer Snapp.
Services will be 2:00 P.M. Monday, August 13, 2018 at Mathers-Gaunce Funeral Home by Bro. Troy Miller. Burial with military honors will follow in the Carlisle Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 12:00 Noon Monday until the service.
