Connie Lynn Cannon

Connie Lynn Cannon, 72, passed away Sunday, January 18, 2026 at her home in Cynthiana. 

A Nicholas County native born May 5, 1953 to the late James C. “Shotgun” & Alma Bussell Cannon, she was a 1971 graduate of Nicholas County High School, retired after 40 years of working at Square D and was a member of Carlisle Christian Church.  Connie loved working in her flower garden, picking berries in her retirement job at Reed Valley Orchard, and her precious dogs, Peanut & Nyla. 

Surviving are her daughter, Julie Lynn Edwards; her longtime companion, Kenneth Clem; and 2 sisters, Kathy Hilander & Jimmie Faye Tubbs, along with several nieces & nephews and great-nieces & nephews.

Services will be 7:00 P.M. Thursday, January 22nd at Mathers-Gaunce Funeral Home by Rev. Steve Smith with visitation beginning at 5:00 P.M.
