David Allen Moss, 77, of Carlisle, passed away Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at Fountain Circle in Winchester.

Born November 22, 1944 in Nicholas Co. to the late Clarence “Snooks” & Betty Lee Alexander Moss, David was a 1963 graduate of Nicholas Co. High School and was a longtime excavator operator and truck driver.

Survivors include his daughter, Lisa Moss; his son, Jonathan (Marlena) Moss; 2 sisters, Lee Ann Shrout & Brenda Giles; and a grandson, Reed Moss, along with several nieces and nephews.

Services will be 1:00 P.M. Friday, April 22nd at Mathers-Gaunce Funeral Home by Bro. Darren Fizer. Burial will follow in Carlisle Cemetery.

Visitation will be after 11:00 A.M. Friday until the time of service.
