David Puckett Obituary

David Allen Puckett, 77, of Millersburg, husband of Carolyn Wagoner Puckett, passed away Monday, July 14, 2025 at his home. 

Born October 5, 1947 in Lexington to the late Orville & Joyce Ashley Puckett, he was lifelong farmer.  Dave loved his cows, being on the farm and camping. He greatly enjoyed eating out and “cutting up” with friends & family. 

Additional survivors include his children: Darrell (Leah) Puckett, David (Stacy) Puckett, Jr., Tony (Suzannah) Asbury, Jeff (Julie) Asbury & Tammy (Matthew) Hash; a brother, Tommy (Karen) Puckett; a sister, Betty Redmon; 12 grandchildren: Josh Asbury, Christin Asbury, Trevor Puckett, Hunter Puckett, Aubrey Asbury, Cameron Puckett, Kendall Puckett, Lane Asbury, Annslee Hash, Avaree Hash, Roland Underwood & Xena Underwood; and 7 great-grandchildren, along with several nieces & nephews.

Also preceding him in death was a nephew, Adam Puckett. 

Services will be 2:00 P.M. Friday, July 18th at Mathers-Gaunce Funeral Home by Chaplain Trent Keeton with burial to follow in Millersburg Cemetery. 

Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. Friday until the time of service.
