Debbie Sue Barnett McKenzie, 60, wife of the late Johnny Everett McKenzie, passed away Sunday, October 15, 2023 at her home in Nicholas County.

Born February 14, 1963 in Lansing, Michigan to the late Henry & Rachel Lee Perkins Barnett, Debbie was a devoted homemaker.

Surviving are a son, Tony Edward McKenzie of Nicholas County; brother and sisters: Jackie (Lisa) Barnett of Nicholas County, Lonnie Jones of Somerset & Linda (Paul) Johnson of Bourbon County; and a grandson, John David McKenzie.

Also preceding her in death were 5 brothers: Willis Fletcher, Randy Manns, Ricky Manns, Billy Barnett & Gary Barnett.

The family has chosen cremation with no public services.
