Delma Jean "GeeGee" Williams Tanner, 77, of Millersburg, wife of the late Charles Winfield Tanner, passed away Thursday, December 28, 2017 at Harrison Memorial Hospital.
Born May 4, 1940 in Harrison County to the late John Dennis & Edythe Louise Hudson Williams, she was graduate of Bourbon County High School, a longtime account representative in the banking industry and member of the Millersburg Presbyterian Church. GeeGee devoted much of her time to music, playing both piano and organ for the church, as well as weddings and other events.
Left to cherish her memory is a son, David Keller Lake (Tracey Bolton), of Millersburg; a daughter, Karen Renee (Torsten) Wayne, of Ft. Thomas; a half-brother, John (Marlys) Williams, of Laguna Nigel, California; 5 grandchildren: Joshua (Tiffany) Lake, Jarred Lake and Nicholas, Sarah & Adam Suedkamp; and 3 great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Williams Owen, and a half-brother, James "Jimmy" Williams.
A Memorial Service will be held 11:00A.M. Friday, February 16, 2018 at the Millersburg Presbyterian Church. A luncheon reception will follow at the Oasis Event Center, 610 Main Street, Paris. Inurnment will be in the Millersburg Cemetery.
