Denver Dale Brown, 71, husband of Nettie Foster Brown, passed away Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at Johnson-Mathers Nursing Home.
Born March 7, 1950 in Robertson County to the late Raymond & Viola Ellison Brown, Denver was a machinist by trade, having worked in several area factories including Weaver and Paris Machining, and having retired from Lee-Lynn Manufacturing. He loved spending time watching his boys and grandchildren play sports, raising cattle & chickens on the farm and cheering on the St. Louis Cardinals.
Additional survivors include 3 sons: Daniel (Jorene) Brown, of Lexington, Bradley (Renee) Brown and Nicholas “Pubbie” Brown, of Nicholas County; 3 brothers: Archie Brown & Ollie (Irene) Brown, of Nicholas County, and William (Rhonda) Brown, of Sadieville; 2 sisters, Guendolyn Graham and Charlotte (Billy) Masengale, of Nicholas County; and 8 grandchildren: Keaston, Konlin, Kayson, Zoe, Reese, Wyatt, Haleigh and Aden Brown, along with a host of nieces and nephews.
Also preceding him in death were a brother, Ernie Brown; a sister, Vonda Smith and her husband, Silas; a brother-in-law, Lloyd Graham; and a sister-in-law, Otis Brown.
Services will be 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, August 3, 2021 at Mathers-Gaunce Funeral Home by Bro. Phillip Mattox. Burial will follow in the Saltwell Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 5:00 P.M. Monday.
