Donna (Ritchie) Adams

Donna Ritchie Adams, 62, passed away Saturday, November 11, 2017 after a long battle with Multiple Sclerosis.

Born July 11, 1955 in Nicholas County to the late Burton Donson & Patsy Curtis Ritchie, she was a longtime cook and waitress at the Carnico Country Club and attended the Barterville United Methodist Church. Despite her illness, Donna loved keeping in touch with her friends on the computer.

Left to cherish her memory are 2 sons- Brian Hogsten (Courtney Stroud), of Carlisle, and Cody (Trina) Adams, of Ewing; 2 brothers- Tommy (Jo) Ritchie and James Ritchie (Rhonda Alexander); a sister- Gay (David) Hunt; 3 special aunts, Leota Fryman, Dorothy Ritchie and Linda B. George, all of Carlisle; 2 grandchildren- Ariana & Braydon Adams; a brother-in-law, Mike (Karen) Hawkins; special nieces & nephew- Misty (Justin, Sr.) Brown, Melony (Chris) Davis, Brittany (Eric) Andrus, Tabitha (Nathan) Gilkerson, Lyric Hawkins and Justin Ritchie; several great-nieces & nephews and her lifelong friend, Donna Earlywine.

Also preceding her in death were a sister, Tamela Sue "Tammy" Hawkins and a grandson, Braxton Adams.

Services will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at Mathers-Gaunce Funeral Home by Bro. Jesse Hickerson and Rev. Brenda Routt. Burial will follow in the Barterville Cemetery.

Visitation will be after 5:00 P.M. Monday.
