Dorothy Bell “Dudie” Flora, 64, wife of Ollie Ray Flora for 43 years, passed away on Sunday, September 12, 2021 at Harrison Memorial Hospital.
Born June 19, 1957 in Nicholas Co. to the late Willie “Bill” & Carolyn Bowles Tincher, Dorothy was a devoted homemaker, who cherished her time with family– attending ball games and cheerleading competitions, and was a longtime member of Carlisle Christian Church, where she was active in the nursery ministry.
Other survivors include her 2 daughters: Amanda Chadwick (Jeff Fryman) & Carolyn Carson; 5 siblings: Mary (Sherman) Evans, Luther Tincher, Jim (Elizabeth) Tincher, Gayle (Shirley) Tincher & Danny Tincher; 5 grandchildren: Emily (Damon) Jackson, Cameron Chadwick, Haley Ray Carson, William Ray Carson & Mason Fryman; 4 great-grandchildren: Bently Scott, Tanner Jackson, Jase & Case Jackson; special family members Jerry & Frankie Hilander, along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Also preceding her in death were an infant sister, Emma Mae Tincher, 2 brothers, Billy & Paul Tincher, and her son-in-law, Jim Chadwick.
Services will be 11:00 A.M. Friday, September 17th at Carlisle Christian Church by Rev. Steve Smith. Burial will follow in Carlisle Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 6:00 P.M. Thursday at the church.
