Doug Wills

Norman Douglas "Doug" Wills, 66, husband of Mary Evelyn Bach Wills, passed away Saturday, August 25, 2018 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center.

Born December 17, 1951 in Paris, Kentucky to the late William Norman & Mary Elizabeth Soard Wills, he was a 1969 graduate of Clinton Massie High School in Clarksville, Ohio, where he was a star on the basketball court and pitched for the baseball team. Doug worked for more than 20 years at Kentucky Utilities serving the communities of Bourbon and Nicholas Counties. He greatly enjoyed gardening and loved to travel.

Also surviving are 3 brothers, Danny Wills, of California, Christopher Wills and Reginald Wills, both of Carlisle; a sister, Carole Lancto, of Paris; his mother-in-law, Mary Bach, of Carlisle; and several nieces & nephews, along with a large extended family.

Services will be 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at the First Baptist Church of Carlisle by Rev. Sharon Fields with burial to follow in the Carlisle Cemetery.

Visitation will be after 6:00 P.M. Tuesday at the church.
