Edith Jean Lynam Bentz, 91, of Paris, formerly of Carlisle, wife of the late Leon "Lee" Bentz, passed away Monday, July 24, 2017 at her home.
Born January 8, 1926 in Nicholas County to the late Holman & Minnie Snapp Lynam, she was a retired employee of Jockey International. Edith was a spiritual woman, who loved spending time with her family more than anything and was a devoted sister, wife, mother, grandmother and aunt. She will be greatly missed.

Also preceding her in death were 3 brothers, Avery, Garland & Kenneth Lynam, and 3 sisters, Geneva Fuller, Mary Jane McLean and Betty Sanders.
Services will be 10:00 A.M. Friday, July 28, 2017 at Mathers-Gaunce Funeral Home by Bishop Steven Pearce. Burial will follow in the Carlisle Cemetery.
