Elmer Booth

Elmer Booth, 79, husband of Sue Bowles Booth, passed away Sunday, September 23, 2018 at Johnson-Mathers Nursing Home.

Born February 2, 1939 in Bath County to the late Goble Alonzo & Anna Willoughby Booth, he was a lifelong farmer who loved to garden, was an avid "flea-marketer" and attended Field of Harvest Church in Millersburg.

Also surviving are a step-son, Michael "Red" Bowles and his wife, Amy, of Carlisle; a sister, Rosie Hunt, of Owingsville; 3 grandchildren, Jake, Kenzie & Keylee Bowles, and several nieces and nephews.

Also preceding him in death were 2 brothers, Edgar Alonzo & Cavanaugh Booth, and a sister, Margie Carson.

Services will be 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at Mathers-Gaunce Funeral Home by Bro. Roy Stacy and Bro. Gary Stitt. Burial will follow in Carlisle Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. Wednesday until the time of service.
