Elsie Ruth Stone

Elsie Ruth Stone, 88, of Carlisle, passed away Friday, December 6, 2024 at Robertson County HealthCare in Mt. Olivet. 

Born July 18, 1936 in Nicholas County to the late Charles & Anna Shields Stone, she was a devoted aunt and greatly enjoyed traveling with her family. 

Surviving are her niece & care-giver, Judy Ring; and great-nieces & nephews: Kristy (Scott) Nelson, Josh (Mary Beth) Ring, Mary Ann (Troy) Albin & Mason (Jessica) White, along with several other nieces & nephews and a large extended family.

Also preceding her in death were 4 brothers: Charles, Jr., Renick, James & John Stone; 2 sisters, Mary Ethel Stone & Betty Clem; a beloved niece, Brenda White; and a great-nephew, Todd Browning.

Services will be 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, December 10th at Mathers-Gaunce Funeral Home by Rev. Tony Smith. Burial will follow in Carlisle Cemetery.  

Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. Tuesday until the time of service.
