Emanuel Holland

Emanuel Holland, 74, of Lexington, formerly of Carlisle, passed away Sunday, December 28, 2025 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center. 

Born July 10, 1951 in Bell County, Kentucky, he was a longtime Tobacco farmer and a member of the Carlisle Church of Christ. Emanuel was a man of faith; he enjoyed attending church, watching U.K. Basketball and spending time with his family, especially his grandsons.

Surviving are his longtime partner, Ginny Cadle; his daughter, Jennifer Holland; a stepson, Michael Farrow; 2 grandsons, Brandon Sorrell & Jayden Oakley; and a great-granddaughter, Kinsley Sorrell.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Maxine Taylor; his father, William Holland; and his mother & stepfather, Leona Rose & Paul Houchens.

Following cremation, a memorial service may be scheduled in the near future.
