Ethel Louise Puckett Carbert, 89, wife of the late Oliver L. Carbert, passed away Monday, January 16, 2017 at Dover Manor Nursing Home in Georgetown.
Born March 29, 1927 in Nicholasville, Kentucky to the late Harvey & Florence Cobb Puckett, she was a devoted housewife and member of the First Baptist Church of Carlisle. She had many talents as a craftswoman, making all different kinds of hand crafts, especially quilting and needlework.
Survivors include 2 brothers: Julian "Tommy" Puckett, of Carlisle, and Oliver Puckett, of South Carolina; 3 sisters: Laura Riddle, of Georgetown, Ida Mae Willoughby, of Lexington, and Helen Eddington, of Crittenden; and several nieces and nephews.
Also preceding her in death were 2 brothers, David & Virgil Puckett, and 5 sisters, Eva Gibson, Lucille Irwin, Alice Puckett, Emma Haas and Linda Hubbard.
Graveside Services will be 2:00 P.M. Friday, January 20, 2017 at the Paris Cemetery Chapel by Rev. Keith Willoughby.
