Evelyn George

Miss Evelyn George, 105, passed away Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at Johnson-Mathers Nursing Home. 

Born June 4, 1915 in Nicholas County to the late Rollie C. & Ella Scott George, she was a former employee of Duncan Electric, worked for many years at the Carlisle Drug Co. fountain and was a lifelong member of the Carlisle Christian Church. 

Surviving are several cousins and her devoted care-givers. 

Services will be 2:00 P.M. Friday February 12 at Mathers-Gaunce F.H. by Rev. Steve Smith. Burial will be in the Carlisle Cemetery.
