Everett Flora

Everett Flora, 90, passed away Thursday, December 15, 2022 at Maysville Nursing & Rehab Center.

Born August 27, 1932 in Nicholas County to the late Ollie Clifton & Amanda Gray Flora, he was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War, a former construction worker and a lifelong farmer. Everett was an avid coon hunter and raised several champion dogs.

Survivors include his special niece, Carolyn Carson, and her children, Haley Bell Carson & William Ray Carson.

Also preceding him in death were his brother, Ollie Ray Flora and his wife Dorothy, along with his sister, Thelma Flora.

Services will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, December 20th at Mathers-Gaunce Funeral Home by Bro. Alvin Eckler, Sr.  Burial with military honors will follow in Carlisle Cemetery.

Visitation will be after 1:00 P.M. Tuesday.
