Gary Allen Steele

Gary Allen Steele, 50, of Carlisle, passed away Tuesday, November 6, 2018 at his home.

A Nicholas County native born September 8, 1968, he was the son of Geneva Tubbs Steele, of Carlisle, and the late Carl C. Steele, Sr. Gary had worked as a machinist with Custom Tool in Lexington and enjoyed music, playing his guitar and computer programming.

Additional survivors include 2 sons, Gary Steele, Jr., of Frankfort, and Aaron (Heather) Steele, of Georgetown; a daughter, Amber (Erica) Steele, of Georgetown; a brother, Carl Steele, Jr., of Carlisle; 5 grandsons: Jackson, Joel, Joseph, Michael & Preston Steele; and 2 granddaughters, Hannah & Sophie Steele.

A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held from 5:00-7:00 P.M. Thursday, November 8, 2018 at Mathers-Gaunce Funeral Home.
