Janice Ann Clark Vanlandingham, 80, wife of the late Gayle Vanlandingham, passed away Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at Baptist Health-Lexington.
Born February 10, 1941 in Fayette County to the late Elva C. & Gladys Beal Clark, she was a graduate of Henry Clay High School, worked for many years as an administrative assistant at LexMark International and the Coca-Cola Company and was of the Methodist faith. Jan loved reading her bible, spending time with family, had a wonderfully dry sense of humor and was an avid UK fan.
Surviving are a daughter, Ellen Louise Butler, of Lexington; 2 grandchildren: Andrew Butler and Katherine (Michael) Willis; 3 great-grandchildren: Ryleigh, Asher & Harper Willis; a special niece, Janet Marie Sherrod; 3 brothers, 7 sisters and a life-long friend, Marie Hicks.
Also preceding her in death were her son, David Frances Brown, 2 brothers and 3 sisters, including her beloved twin, Louise Sherrod.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, February 14th at the Carlisle Cemetery.
