Jeffrey Allen Mitchell

Jeffrey Allen Mitchell, 67, husband of Brenda Day Mitchell, passed away Sunday, November 26, 2023 at his home in Nicholas County.

Born April 26, 1956 in Bourbon County to the late Robert Fithian & Nancy Hadley Mitchell, he worked in construction for many years. Jeff loved working with his hands and could make just about anything.  He also enjoyed hunting, fishing and watching The Andy Griffith Show. In his younger years, he was a big fan of Harley Davidson motorcycles and hotrod cars.

Also surviving are his son, Rodney Allen Mitchell (Amanda Harney) of Bourbon County; 3 step-sons, James S. Martin, Jr. & David Clay (Swanda) Martin, both of Nicholas County and Dwayne (Tiffany) Martin of Paris; 4 granddaughters: Bella, Sicily, Alana & Hadley Mitchell, several step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Jeff was also preceded in death by his brother, Gregory Mitchell.

In accordance with his wishes, Jeff will be cremated with no public services.
