Jonathan C. Gillispie

Jonathan Clark Gillispie, 61, son of Betty Lou Howard Gillispie, passed away Sunday, September 12, 2021 at Harrison Memorial Hospital.

Born June 16, 1960 in Nicholas County, he was a truck driver for Hinkle Contracting and former employee of Kentucky Textiles. 

Surviving are his step-daughter, Jenny (Dave) Parsons; his aunts & uncles, Cecil F. (Peggy) Howard, Ronald C. Howard, James H. Howard, Coleman Gillispie, Phillip Gillispie and Betty Jo Gillispie; and his step-grandchildren, Kassi (Aaron) Martin, Gannon (Nikki) Parsons & Carlie Parsons; great-grandchildren, Thomas & Jessi Martin along with several cousins. 

Preceding him in death were his father, Donald Clark Gillispie, and his aunts & uncles: Gaylord & Bob Gillispie, Sherry Howard, Sandra Howard and Lora Gillispie. 

A Gathering of Family & Friends will be after 6:00 P.M. Monday, September 20th at Mathers-Gaunce Funeral Home for Jonathan and his mother, Betty Lou, who passed away Thursday, September 16th. There will be no funeral service.  Private burial will be in the Millersburg Cemetery
